Q: What is Virgin Hair?

A: The term virgin hair means that the hair is 100% natural. It has not been altered by dyes, bleaches, or chemical processes in any way.

Q: What does the term “Remy” mean?

A: Remy is considered to be the finest quality of human hair. The term “Remy” means all the hair cuticles are healthy, intact, and all cuticles flow in some direction from the root to the tip. Remy Virgin hair is collected directly from a woman’s head and is cut in a ponytail to ensure no hair strands fall to the floor.

Q: How to measure the length of your virgin hair?

A: Each texture must be measured differently. The Brazilian hair extensions should be measured to the fall of the hair. Start 0 at the weft and measure to the ends of the bundle. The Brazilian Wavy and Brazilian Curly hair extensions must be measured by pulling the hair straight. Again, start 0 at the weft; pull the hair straight from the ends, and the length will be at the tips of the hair. Each bundle will not measure exactly when it is still wrapped in its band, as tension can affect the fall of each strand.

Q: Can the virgin hair be straightened or curled?

A: Your new virgin hair extensions can be treated as if it is your own hair. You are able to use a thermal (hot) tool to straighten, curl, crimp, etc. Keep in mind the hair does not have all the nutrients that a strand growing from your scalp will. Heat damage can cause breakage and dryness. Therefore, it is imperative that you use a heat-protecting product, always co-wash your hair, and protect it during sleep hours.

Q: Can I color my new virgin hair?

A: Yes, our hair is premium quality 100% Virgin Malaysian Hair, Brazilian hair, Peruvian hair and Indian hair. Therefore it can handle the coloring process, although we suggest that you consult with a professional for coloring your new hair. Any chemical processes should be done by a professional or at least consulted by one. This purchase is an investment for you and chemically altering the hair can possibly damage it. Though our virgin hair weaves can handle a coloring process very well, please be cautious.

Q: Can I swim with my virgin hair?

A: Yes. We recommend wetting your hair with water and lathering your hair with conditioner (leave-in or regular) prior to going swimming. The chlorine and salt will make the hair dry and brittle, but soaking your hair in water and conditioner will minimize the amount of chlorine or sea salt that get absorbed in your hair. Lastly, you should always wash your hair after swimming.

Q: What type hair do you use?

A: We use the finest luxury Brazilian hair. High-quality human hair is handpicked and aligned so that every single strand runs in the same direction that it grows from the scalp. This ensures that the cuticle on each hair is running the same way (downwards), which helps to keep the hair natural looking, shiny, soft and tangle free.

Q: Are your hair shed free and tangle free?

A: A few shedding is normal. We recommend customer seal weft & cutting area. Don't cut the weft only if you feel it's necessary. Our virgin hair is cuticle intact donator's hair, usually not tangle. But dryness will lead to tangle and shedding, please follow our hair care instruction and use our recommended shampoo & conditioner to co-wash it at least once a week! Sulfate/alcohol involved products will lead to dry and frizzy, please notice that in advance!

Q: How many bundles do you need?

A: For a partial install we recommend 2 bundles.

For a full install, we recommend 3 to 4 bundles.

For 26 inch and more, we recommend 4 to 5 bundles.

Q: How do I get my curly hair not to be frizzy?

A: Curly hair takes a bit more upkeep than straight and wavy hair. Co-wash every 2-3 days, combing it out with a paddle brush, and let the hair air dry, the curls will allow the hair to dry with no frizz.
